That extra speed is a wonderful thing in the hands of a novice. It further insures that when you do hit someone or particularly something that when the marshal gets around to picking the car up after the impact that there will be something important dangling from one of the corners of the wreckage. Since we all race for distance over a set time speed is actually secondary. Consistency is primary.

Does anyone still run the PFM-10?

Really? You're not trading an old 21.5 for 13.5. You hit something hard enough to break it with a new motor you're going to break it with an old motor. Can a good driver with older equipment beat lesser drivers with new equipment? Of course.

I'm not trying to minimize the importance of setup and driving but if you want to win in a stock class against good competition, your powertrain has to be up to snuff.

Ran USGT for the first time today and I'm hooked.

Managed to average about 2-3 tenths faster a lap running a SMC compared to the other two guys running Team Scream. Surprised how well the motor performed.

Running the Exotek but think I'll get the Cadillac because it comes with headlight stickers lol

Has anyone tried this shell and what are its + & - characteristics? Just ordered one from Delta Plastiks and am going to try one on. The class is dominated by the CTS , Corvette and PF bodies and for good reason... they work! Id just like to try something different and somehow a stand out body just helps my orientation in the field. any users out there and what wing works best?
thanks for any input.. or warnings :)

I've gotten mine through darkside designs in the past, but currently use Stickit1Racing. Look at my bodies in the last couple pages and you can see what they look like

Comes with a wing, I used this body in wgtr and liked it as it felt balanced in that class but my car was quite pushy with other bodies. Biggest downfall to delta plastik bodies is they are heavy, heard they were going to come out with light weight bodies but never checked to see if they did.

With respect to the Gravity RC USGT tires that come pre-mounted on rims. How do the two different rims compare? Does one have more grip? I assume that the 6 spoke rims are lighter so less rotational mass, but how do the two different rims compare on the track? Any feedback is appreciated.

6 SPOKES break more easily, that's why the mesh ones came out. Not so much feel but durability.
