I did enjoy this body:

but you honestly need the HPI wing for it to be competitive.

I like the look of R34 version better.

If I had that paint job on my race car, it would never get near the track let alone on it.:) Nice Job!!!

My LHS just found these old Matrix Line bodies lying around a warehouse and bought a bunch. Among them are LFA bodies with carbon print. They were 10 bucks so I picked up one and tested it out last night. Kinda hard to see with it being so dark, gotta add a bunch of bright stickers on it, but it handled surprisingly well.

Nsx concept done close to tamiya manual, doing 100 plus decals was painful. Body drive decent, had more push than I like so made a driving adjustment. It was nice to see it going down track, wish we had more tamiya bodies in our series.

Is that run on a bd7, I'm currently mounting a r32 body on my bd8

Is that a standard TC wing used with standard nsx wing mounts?

it's all going to depend on track size. what i run at my track may not work wel for yours.. a really low FDR (under 3.0) is not going to work on a track with a short straight away; and conversely, a high FDR (4.0+) won't work on a track with a mega long straight

but you'll probably want to shoot for a FDR or 3.9-4.0 for a start. I also think the 2.43 you stated above is the IR (internal ratio) of the chassis. you should be able to find some online charts that will break down what FDRs you'd get for X pinion and Y spur.

but from my experience for the HB TC, TCX and TCXX - you're going to want to use between a 90-100t spur and then the appropriate pinion(s) from there. also, my experience with the SP motors, is they need a little lower FDR to get all the power out of them - i've run a couple before and they are good, but i always had to go to a lower FDR when i ran that motor. i've since switched my last SP to my rally :)

i'm confused at the moment :(

the tires for USGT is still the ones from Gravity, right? Gravity Pro Shop Team Gravity Rc | RC Racing

and you can get them either pre-mounted, or mount your own, right??
