LRP X12 !!! You can run them hot [200 degrees+] and they keep running all day

I run the Reedy Sonic 21.5, it runs really cool and stays strong the whole run......

and Ive run my 21.5 Sonic in 17.5 TC against some of the newer motors that just came out...and won...

You cant go wrong with the Sonics...IMO

Well I've been looking at bodies. I really want a HPI Lotus Elise body but its out of stock everywhere. It might be dicontinued....:tire:

Any suggestions on a good handling body? I'm thinking about going with the Hpi Impreza body.

Any thoughts or are they all about the same? and I should just pick one :D

I'd go with what you like :) NSX's are pretty popular as well...

you might look for that elise online - I think last time I saw it Phil's hobby Shop (ebay retailer) had it in stock

remember, you're not just stuck to HPI bodies - tamiya also has a good selection, ABC and a couple of other japanese companies..

and depending on what chassis you're putting under the body, you got all those low-nosed tamiya bodies - assuming you run a IFS-equiped tamiya (ta05v2, ta06, tb-03r)

First before ANYONE tells you they are all the same.... they are not. Downforce is downforce any way any speed you drive it, some have more than others and some are more balanced then others. That being said get over it and pick a body that you like. I'm a Porsche fan so even though it has no front grip I still run it. Just adjusted my setup a little and wheeled it. And have fun, if you want to get serious pick a faster class, if you want to have a cool looking car body run USGT just remember most of the handling goes out the door anyway as the tires are non belted and have a tendency to be skidish. If you're looking for a balanced body though stay away from the lambo style as they don't have much front down force. It's the reason TC has a bit of nose and roof line to it. Those style body have a more balanced feel.

In our area, the HPI 190mm Nissan 350Z seems to be the one to run. It fits the nose/foam of a TC5-TC6 just about perfect.

Love the principle of USGT-
We go by RCGT rules still locally (17.5 motor, any tire on spoked wheels). The look and variety of cars on track looks great here and we get as many RCGT entries as stock sedan.

My HPI pro4 with Mazda Furai-
