On the tires, if you contact Thunderpower or The Track (ercwhtsd on rctech), both should have a limited amount of tires left if you want to try them. Jim from Thunderpower says he can start stocking them if the demand is there. I'm thinking it will be from the initial results.

Yeah Jimmy I think had the fastest lap in Qualifying by just a smidge over Josh. In the main just about everyone went faster over the run and I had the fastest lap before FAILURE took hold...there were 3 of us with 9.2s and a bunch of guys with 9.3s..the tires were just as good as the competion. They ran great all day and I think would still be good for another 2 or 3 days...we ran 3 8min quals and 15min main with little wear showing on the tires...not to mention all the practice on Friday as well.

Thanks for the responses guys. My son was thrilled to read them. It has really encouraged him to get more creative with his painting.
The body isn't quite as pretty anymore because it saw its first race last night. A little wall rash never hurt anything.
he qualified fourth and finished fifth out of eight cars and he had his cleanest runs ever. I think having that body on the car helped him stay off of the walls.
