I am running a 3.80 gear with the timing set 2 lines under 50°. I check the motor temp internally with my program box and its 190° , but the can is only 150 to 160°
We have a 100' straight usually with a sweeper. I thought I was having serious low HP problems untill I got my set up right because my laptimes were slower. Now my times only drop off 2-10's of a second.

Do you think that would fit on a touring car?

I'm doubting it, since they designed it for 1/10 pan cars(meant for World GT Rubber classes, according to Protoform's site). Shame too, as I'd LOVE to see one on a TC chassis....

noproblems209 08-31-2016 11:27 PM

look at the bottom of the picture... 190mm out soon :)

Grizzbob 08-31-2016 11:30 PM

I hope you're right, but they didn't exactly specify for TC chassis yet(emphasis on the YET). But if I could get one that would fit on my TRF417, I would be one VERY happy camper, so we'll just have to be patient & see....

Actually they did state the 190mm is for Touring cars. Just visit the PF website.

I see reference to a 190mm version, but I don't see any claims it will fit a conventional TC. It might only fit cars with really low profile shock towers.

A motor hanging off the left side (as found on most TC chassis) would present a challenge.

I suspect the TC version won't have the flow through B pillars like the pan car version.

Looks amazing at any rate!

It doesn't claim to fit conventional Touring cars. It just says, "For touring car fans, don’t fret: a 190mm version of Ford GT is coming soon."
