steering feels great, plenty of that in fact, its just the rear end being loose.

Roll centers and droop settings will probably fix your issue. put shims under the inside front camber links, take away from the rear inside or add to the outside links. increase droop 1/2 turn in the rear (more down travel). This is assuming the car is loose on entry.

Yjimk ur backwards on ur droop thinking ...
More droop = more weight transfer which is not the cure for a loose on entry car

So I'm setting up my 6.1 to run USGT and I bought the Lexus IF S Concept body (200mm) and was wondering what type of offset I should run? I was thinking of running 3mm in the front but was wondering if 6mm would be extending out of the body? These are 26mm rims and I believe the Spec Tires will fit right? From what I understand they'll square out rather than round out.

IMHO,
I am no pro but I run the Protoform Lexus LFA 200 mm I run no off set wheels! It looks fine most people don't notice. Offset wheels will change you handling and you will have to make set up changes to compensate for the offset wheels. I run a Tamiya and I think I would put on wider suspension mounts. IMHO

Sounds good....I got some of 24mm 10-spoke Ride rims coming but they obviously don't look as good as the HPI rim out there. I'll glue up a set but will decide on the next set of tires that I have. Central Cal? I'm originally from Manteca and raced at Ripon R/C

I have race at Manteca Hobbies in the 80's I never race in Ripon but I have been told it is a great track shame it closed down. We run a class here GT3 rules are a little different USGT we run a control tire team power 28 slicks on our sealed asphalt the Ride tires didn't have any grip. The other difference is weight our min. is 1380. We have been having great racing in our GT class it is the fastest growing class here Fresno. If you still have family in the valley come on down and race with us we race every weekend. Video of our last GT race.

For those interested the 21.5 - Turnigy Trackstar - 9192000034 motor has been submitted to ROAR for approval. When final approval is given, I'll let you guys know.

Interesting. How will they meet this part of the rule?

8.5.2.1.1 Product availability is required to no less than three retail outlets prior to publication on approval list.

As far as I know, they only sell through Hobbyking's web page, not through retail outlets.

Kevin,

HobbyKing was at one time accepting applications for USA retailers to carry their products. You had to have a legit store front to apply. A local retailer did apply but didn't ever hear a reply. HK claims to have retail franchises in many countries.

Default Trackstar

Wouldn't that be kind of a catch 22, if it gets approval I'm sure other retailers will carry it as a low price option. Since it doesn't have approval they don't carry it as they won't sell to racers competing with ROAR rules.
