I just looked up the rules on the Ifmar site and it states best 3 of 6 rounds. I could be wrong but its possible the site that is keeping the stuff posted might just not be sorting by qual points
It states the tq for the round gets 155 and the next fastest gets 153 and so on. Maybe someone in the know will confirm this.

IFMAR Rules are clear.
On carpet, the best two times from six rounds will be added together to determine qualifying positions. On tarmac, it is round by round with scores from each round added together. The best three scores from six rounds will count.
I guess that the scoring system will not give the TQ until all rounds are complete and they can find the best two scores. Unless of course they have decided to change to a rocket-round system at an International Jury meeting on Saturday, and we don't know... HTH

If that is the rule. If you are 1g under weight, DQed.
The IFMAR races are the last of the dying breed of races that are run similar to full size racing events. When you don't follow the rules, you are penalized.
The severity of the LiPo DQ was due to the fact that earlier in the day a LiPo fire broke out in the pits. It was emphasized that the batteries must be charged in the sack.
FYI, Juho Levanen was DQed from one round for rear wheels that were too wide and has also lost his best qualifying round due to missing his turn marshalling assignment.
Pretty harsh but the process of following the rules is pretty simple and there are not many complaints when a penalty is given.
