Default Speed 8

actually looking at the EFRA list it says that the Protoform Speed 8 is legal, just not the Parma one (I assume because Parma didn't pay the 'fee')

Barrys,

Please do not assume. You do not know the facts.

Thanks,

There's some confusion down under, some of us have booked at the Econo lodge, I e-mailed the Econo Lodge group offices as to the condition of the hotel and received the reply that all was OK and not to cancel bookings.
Yet one of the other drivers have had there booking cancelled from the Econo Lodge group.
Is the damage to this hotel that bad, that I should ignore the e-mail from E-L-G that I have recieved and book some were else ?

How about more Rules that are odd....

12th Scale weight shows 860grams, which is a 6 cell car weight. Last time we ran 6 cell at the worlds was 1998. In 2000 we used the heavy weight, hopefully they drop it down to 800g where it should be.

I have phoned the hotel in question and have been told that there are no problems, though the econo lodge maingate inn does have storm damage.

With the approx 10gm difference between personal transponder and the self powered (rack type), in Australia, we now weigh the cars with timing equipment still fitted, and the cars must be at or above the minimum weight. The scrutineer then removes the transponder and returns it to the rack if needed. The minimum weight was raised to compensate for the adjustment.
eg: 1500 gm to 1525 gm for ISTC

If your staying at the Econo lodge is Kissimmee off 192, I think its called the Hawian Restort Econo Lodge....has a black angus in attached to it.....CANCEL YOUR ROOMS! I just stayed there for Softball worlds this past week. The rooms all had mold, the service sucked....and the rest of the guests are what I call LESS than desirable to be around.

Mate,
You've had the best prep leading up to the race, you don't need luck, you have more skill than you've had for a while......

You've been there before...

Don't obsess over the last tiny setup changes or too much tech and maintenance (I know you probably still will).

The best thing you could do would be watch the other guys lines, get as much practice on track (go out even if it's wet, best way to get the track to yourself, and your speedy is water proof )and Just drive the damn cars man!!!!!

You'll do us proud..

It has been some time since we last heard any news from the track.

I understand that this year the weather has been very rough on Florida.

I am just asking if everything is OK overthere since the pictures we saw on the news show a lot of damage but cannot understand which areas have been hurt the most.

Hope this bad weather goes away quickly and does not appear again as many must be suffering from the damage caused.

I have arranged everything apart from the flights from Boston to Orlando since the airline companies ask you to pay the day you book the flight and not the actual day you are flying.

So any news of the current situation at Kissimmee would be helpfull.

Hope you are all well,

Best regards,
