Gold VDF supply seems to be drying up... no more out of HongKong,
Japan online sellers appear all out (might be some in local shops)
and o/s shops elsewhere don't seem to be restocking anymore.

Blue has celebrated its 1st birthday... and scarily prices are going UP

In recent weeks they've been fetching MORE than what the kit cost new.

Nothing scientific, just personal observation.

be very careful about stripping anodising with caustic chemicals

it eats into the metal and by the time you've also buffed it shiny again
you've lost quite a bit off the surface... and your original precision is gone

if you're doing something like hingepin mounts, i'd suggest stuffing some
blutac into the hingepin cups and masking off the flat bottom surface.
Leave them coloured... & slopfree.

they're not black, its khaki green
all the ones on left (A-E no "1") are from TBevoIII.

With "1" they are 1mm lower.

There's another newer design when TB03/ff03 came out
with the italic outline font... but geometry wise
they look the same as older version.
