Stock rear track width on a REV6 with Parma Blackhawks is around 168mm with one gold washer on each side.
What are most guys running?
172mm is max, but it seems really wide and I would have to add many washers.

To bring the car up to 172mm---
4 brass shims on each side of the pod for Parma or Jaco tires. No shims for John's BSR or CRC tires.

Rev 6 Has a different offset than Rev 5? And can anyone give me a rollout for 13.5 on a track similar to IIC?

Yes - they are different.

For 13.5 1/12 on a 100x40ft track your settings will vary based upon motor, speedo, battery and efficiency of your car. Starting at 70mm should be safe -- but make sure to temp often, and stop running immediately if you feel the car fade/slow down quickly.

Trinity Nemisis, Black Diamond profile 2 (our track is kinda greasy), Reedy 40C 5000mah LIPO. I'm at 70mm now, but since I never see temps above 115' and could probably run 2 heats on a single charge, I thought I might be under geared a bit. Doesn't improve lap times to gear up much though. I miss the days when you geared to run 8 minutes period.

one word - failure.

Haynes was B-Q in modified. I was at the back of the B-main. I think I brought the wrong tires -- should of ran Lilac or Double Pink fronts. We need to work a bit on our smaller/tighter track setup. Oh well. To race another day.

When building the rear shock, do you measure "total shock length" from the ends of the ball cups, or measure from the center of each ball to come with the final measurement.

Greg - I cannot say I've ever measured by shock length, but I do pay attention to my pod droop and chassis sag. I want my pod droop to be nearly flat or with about 1 degree of angle. I have the chassis sag be no more than 0.4 mm. You can read up more of the impact of these two configuration items here --

Question about the new SpeedMerchant Formula 2 Front Suspension ..Has anyone had to replace the Teflon O ring once?
Do they get worn out or out of shape by impact ?
wondering if the new formula Version 2 use the same teflon O ring like the first version?

Yes, the Rev6 and the Formula 2 front end uses the same Teflon shims. It is important to replace the orings when there is slop between them and the kingpin. There is a new retention mechanism that supports the oring from the bottom with three screws to help it last longer. You can see a pic here :
