Hara running the older prototype chassis. Moore running TRF bits.

It's crazy.

The trf parts on andys car are just to help accomodate the gear diff he is running. Although the HPI/HB varient should be on it's way in the near future.

So Hara comes in second at the ETS race using the older prototype chassis...

Anyone have any idea what the difference is between the prototype chassis, and the for-sale version? While I doubt it will make a huge difference for my skill-level, I'd still like to know what one of the best drivers in the world doesn't like about the new chassis.

I read something about the car being more aggressive than the version being sold.

4xx is to much for car that no one of top drivers is running as it is from the box, if you will get all goodies in the box that andy and hara have to use to stay competitive with tamiyas then maybe 4xx is ok but xx have to be very low.

Box stock TCX is already ready to compete. :)
Yes, Hara and Andy have been trying something different for testing purposes but that doesn't mean the stock chassis/parts are not competitive. We are always looking for the improvement and come up with something as option parts when we finalize them.

I hope you will have a chance to drive the TCX and you will see how it does.
Please feel free to let us know if you have any questions or concerns.

Thanks:)
