Yeh, maybe we have the same problem. I shimmed the rear diff nicely but not so much the oneway I think. I will be getting some more stuff soon and I will try it out, but I have to get that Alloy oneway gear, and also the Ti screw set. Not a fan of the steel screws, etc.
I daresay Rainbow Ten will have all that's needed shortly. They say (just cos I want some stuff) that EVO III bits willl now be hard to get because all the OEMs (Square etc) are off making bits for the EVO IV.

I wouldn't be surprised if there wasn't a Ti screw kit for it already. If not, I would guess a 415 kit (which is definitely available) would do it.

Yep.

On Rainbow Ten's website, there is a link to Items Arrived this Week, and there is a whole pile of TB Evo IV parts there, including the Ti Screw set. Its 6000Yen.

I can't wait to get me some of that!! :D

On the acceleration out of a hairpin, I felt a sudden loss of control for a split second before I chilled out and kept going. It didn't appear to be too bad until I had to accelerate from another hairpin and it was fishtailing around the road. I have yet to investigate it visually, but it feels as if the gears inside the front gearbox for the one-way, have stripped. I pretty much only have RWD at this stage. I will check it out and let you know what happens, but I think I am going to have to buy spares of that. I will just get the Alloy gear for that.

Turns out that the oneway gears are just fine. What the problem was, was that the oneway gear just needed a bit of shimming to stop it from moving all the way towards the left hand side of the gearbox rather then sitting nicely with the teeth. I've fixed the problem again and I will be testing it again on Wednesday as a demo for some guys at the club, weather permitting of course! :p

Could this lead to EVO III style gear stripping if left unattended?

I thought that the Evo 4 gears were supposed to be uncovered?

Hi Guys,

If any one can do me a favor and send me an email of the screw count and sizes of each, I believe we can put together a screw kit for the EVO IV :) Judging by the cost of the EVO III screw kit, it should run somewhere around $40-$45 USD
