Originally posted by F. Alonso Yeh, maybe we have the same problem. I shimmed the rear diff nicely but not so much the oneway I think. I will be getting some more stuff soon and I will try it out, but I have to get that Alloy oneway gear, and also the Ti screw set. Not a fan of the steel screws, etc. I wouldn't be surprised if there wasn't a Ti screw kit for it already. If not, I would guess a 415 kit (which is definitely available) would do it. |
Yep.
On Rainbow Ten's website, there is a link to Items Arrived this Week, and there is a whole pile of TB Evo IV parts there, including the Ti Screw set. Its 6000Yen. I can't wait to get me some of that!! :D |

Originally posted by F. Alonso On the acceleration out of a hairpin, I felt a sudden loss of control for a split second before I chilled out and kept going. It didn't appear to be too bad until I had to accelerate from another hairpin and it was fishtailing around the road. I have yet to investigate it visually, but it feels as if the gears inside the front gearbox for the one-way, have stripped. I pretty much only have RWD at this stage. I will check it out and let you know what happens, but I think I am going to have to buy spares of that. I will just get the Alloy gear for that. |
Are u really in Oz? Bit early in the morning for u if u are????

Hey Do you guys know, where can i get the spare part for TB EVOLUTION IV in the U.K.
Thank you |
Originally posted by F. Alonso the oneway gear just needed a bit of shimming to stop it from moving all the way towards the left hand side of the gearbox |

Hi Guys,
If any one can do me a favor and send me an email of the screw count and sizes of each, I believe we can put together a screw kit for the EVO IV :) Judging by the cost of the EVO III screw kit, it should run somewhere around $40-$45 USD Steve Wang |
