the flex plates and pivots did not carry over but the new pivots will work on the RR. We still support the RR so no worries there. Nothing you have will be useless. You can always upgrade to the Copperhead for alot less than half the cost of buying a new car. Alot of the parts do carry over from the RR. When you buy our products, we always look out for the consumer when making changes to the car. I sell the conversions at close to my cost to make it reasonable for the consumer. We never turn our backs on you.

Jason, I wanna get the Copperhead conversion for my 12rr and some extra parts for the Copperhead. Mostly rear suspension stuff. I can't find any of these parts on your online store. Are they available but not posted? Gotta call to order? I don't like the idea of no tweak/preload adjustment. I no you say tweaking is not necessary and I 'll be surprised if the left/right balance is perfect outta the box on the tweak board. I guess shimming the fixed ends of the flex plates is the option or possible installing tweak screws in the rear optional mounting holes on the stock flex plates. Are different flex plates gonna be available like on the rr? I like the simplicity of your new design.

rcwck even on cars that have tweak screws people no longer use them to adjust tweak. Once any car is balanced properly there is no need for them.

We do have all of the parts for the new car. I will see why they ae not on the site. We never used the screws to begin with. The option was there but we never used them. The new car really doesnt need them. Even if the balance is a little off, the car will drive like any other car that is not balanced. The nice part is is that you can always rest assured that your spring rates are equal and the pod is tweaked even with the chassis. This is not the case with any other car. All you need to o is balance the car the best you can and run it. I had to add a 1/4 oz. of lead to mine as my ESC is light but i know the car is going to run perfect. And i know that if i hit something the car will not tweak. You cant say this with any other car

We do have different plates for the car. THe standard ones are 1.5mm fiberglass, then we have 1.5mm c/f and 1.2mm c/f

There is a racer at our track,T.Potter,he looks really good with the car,as does the cars qual.Just Tim and three other racers,Bob,Jerry and Brian are generating a lot of interest in 1/12 at our track.Times are a little tight or I would have a go at it.

Is standard fiberglass softest flex plates? I haven't driven my copperhead yet but it feels very stiff even with fiberglass flex plates compared to RR with black thin flex plates which suit my track. We mainly run outdoor low traction track using 5.5 motor.

They are going to feel a little stiffer than the ones on the RR. It works great on our outdoor track that is medium to low traction. Try it with the stock center spring and if you need more rear traction go to the blue center spring.

i don't know for sure but I think I read somewhere long ago that the strength ratio is roughly 2:1

Front suspension mounting screws, 8-32 X 5/8: 82 degree flat head, or 100?

82 degrees for AE and BMI, it's CRC that uses 100 degree.

had a ok run today the track got really loose from high winds do to a storm that was coming in and blew allot of dirt across the track and all the pan's were fighting the track, i did take the win cause jason pulled off with elec issues

Jason, the car gets better each time I run it. Ran at CS club race, and the car was on point , the blue spring did the trick on the med/low traction. I think my servo is on it's way out .. So it was the limiting factor of my car . Man 13.5 single cell is the shit... I hope the state series goes with this class next year.

Did that order go out yet ? Btw got a few locals that have run a few laps on my car , you should be getting some orders this week ...
