Got some questions for you guys.

Wheres a good mail order site to find a Tamiya F1? I can't seem to find them anymore. I was looking for a Ferrai kit to be exact.

Do all the newer F103 kits come with the rubber tires?

How long do the rubber tires last?

Darkside

Tower still has the F103RX in stock for $99.99. It comes with foam tires, the multilink front arms, the pivot ball t-bar and height adjustable rear end. That's a great price! Just order the FRP top deck, oil damper and F-type body from MDI Racing www.mdiracing.com and you have an awesome F1 car for not much money.

Here's Tower's url for the RX kit

TFR: F104 huh? I definitely could wait if they are coming out with a new F1 kit. Where did you hear that news at?

Psycho: thats for the link to Mdiracing. And thats for the hopup tips. I haven't had an F1 since my old Kyosho broke a couple of years back. I think its time to get me a new one.

Where can you get 1/10 electric or nitro F1 cars nowadays? I've been recently bitten by the MicroRS4 bug and or club is planning to hold a F1 class too in our races. I would like to get one.

TambokGT

There aren't many places that really carry much in the way of F1 these days. Here's a few suggestions, though.

Tower sells the Tamiya F103RX for $99.99. That's a great deal.

MDI Racing is apparently going to be selling Cross cars now that Schumacher is importing them to the US. www.mdiracing.com is their url. Les is great at finding Tamiya parts, so I'd suggest you have him special order parts for you.

Calandra makes a hybrid F1 car that uses Associated RC10L parts. I'm going to order one for next year. www.teamcrc.com

Corally also makes a nice car. It's a little pricy, but it has a center mounted battery design and can use Associated wheels. http://www.corally.com/f1onroad.htm

I hope that helps.

Oh, and nitro F1... Ofna used to make one. It was a pan-car design with an aluminum chassis. I see them on Ebay occasionally. Kyosho makes the F-Ten, but Tower stopped carrying it, so you'll have to order it from Japan. The Kyosho car is 4wd, but it actually handles a lot like an electric F1 car. If you order the Japanese version, it comes with an OS .10 engine instead of the GS-11 that the US version sold with. Good luck finding parts for it.
