Enjoy!

I don't speak or read Japanese, but it makes more sense in Japanese than it does after you put it through a translator... :weird:

1armed1,
Make sure the bearing in the spur is not a flanged bearing. I know this sounds goofy but it is a common mistake.

I have flanged bearings within the spur gears in both of my 12L4s with no issue.

Also use Slapmasters in both cars to make the diffs silky smooth.

It seems that it has not participated in a race of Japan since Hara participated in the race of ROAR. However, he was coming to see a race on the final day.

You don't want this on your car. Basically, it locks the front of the t-plate so the car never gets out of tweak. However, the only way to set the tweak on the car is by truing your tires. Can you imagine having to true your tires every round to set your tweak?

thanks scoobydoo and Fuzzy. I guess I'll stay old skool!

Perhaps when you exchange the left and right tires every run it might not be so bad, bad still your chassis should be 100% balanced left to right.
The only way I can imagine doing that is by adding the electronics to your car while it's on a tweakboard. :weird:
tweaking is a tuning aid I wouldn't want to without!

I know it's not a race body like the Speed 8...

But just wondering if anyone has every run that Hotbodies Toyota GT1. I'm not sure how it handles but I think they probably are the best looking 1/12th body.

They were moving weignt around on the rear pod to tweak the 12th cars at worlds. The parts were for asphault only. It was more tire than car from what I hear.

It 's very similar to the protoform p-35 in handling, it has a bit more steering.

Anyone have any expierience running the CEFX LMP body on a 12th scale?

How is it versus the other popular bodies?

I have a complete set and LOVE them. Just be sure you don't over-tighten them or they will strip out.

toughtrax 10-19-2005 09:57 AM
