The Knife is considered to be a more user friendly car. You do not have to tape the batteries to the chassis, there is no t-bar to tweak or break, and the Knife seems to hold a tweak setting longer than a car with a fiberglass t-bar.

The red Knife also comes with the tires fit for racing, (purples, and greys) and lowered rear pod plates so you get more use out of the rear tires.

Trust che. I have had a Quad 12 for a month or so and I have yet to find another 1/12 that carries as much corner speed. Everyone will tell you that a 1/12 race it won in the corners.

I think I will try the TRC foams after all. Maybe even for Sedan. Just starting to have too many problems lately with Jaco's.

RCRacer... I'd go with a Parma Speed8.

I also think I'm gonna go ahead and try the IRS axle as well. Found that my Yok axle end is bend. So my wheel wobbles a tad on the left side. It's not a bent wheels because I can put the wheel on the diff side and it'll be straight. No wobble. Uuuggghhh.. more money!!

Anyways, car was fast today. Just forgot to check tweak during qualifying. Racing 2 classes sucks. Next weekend I'll just race one class. Kevin you did good! We'll get them next time.

The yok does come with flanged bearings however they have a really small inside diamiter since the axle is larger, so as long as you are still running the same large front axles you should be dialed. And stick with Jaco tires for sedan, for some reason alot of the TRC tires for sedan I have seen guys run at local tracks have been really off. They have run TRC sedan tires and there cars have been awful bolt on a set of jaco's and they are dialed (and these are wall banging newbies I am talking about, but racers who do pretty well at big events).

As far as cyan's and granites, if you wanted to run normal tires you could just run double pinks and whites, all of the jaco guys do it, its not a big deal.

Wow, that seems weird to me... seeing as how AE uses a non flanged bearing, and they are basically sister companies. I figured the same parts would be shared between the 2.

Default Wheel dots FS

Hey guys, I have a spare roll of 1.5" diameter white wheel dots to cover up any of those ugly wheels for sale if you're interested.

Yeah, I double checked in my pit box. The Yok bearings are flanged. I'm set!! Now I just gotta prep up the car again for next weekend. Hope to get the new rear axle by mid week along with the tires. I guess I gotta grind off alittle on the pod to make full use of the TRC rears.
