BTW.
The DQ in A2 didn’t cost him the Worlds.
It was the move on Michael right after the start and the tangle up after. He should have stayed calm and pick up the spot later on. Marc checked out what he needed to get the title and stuck to the plan.

You heard wrong!

I had the privilège of refereeing enough modified heats and finals at these Worlds. I saw at least a couple of racers dump before the 8 minutes. And there was a reason why the pole sitter chose not to run a warm up lap in the finals

Read Marc Rheinard post on Facebook between the A2 and A3 rounds. Base your information of what happened off of that.

Awesomatix 1/12 car has actually two ride heights on rear due to lack of single chassis where the single ride height can be measured.
The car's "chassis" consists of two big parts and every part has own ride height.
First ride height is the height under motor and is adjusted via shims under rear axle tube.
Second ride height is the height under rear end of battery and is adjusted via set screws in the long side bars near to the battery.

Thank you for the post.

You stated earlier that the second ride height adjustment was accomplished with set screws in the long side bars near the battery, do they also adjust the roll stiffness of the car along with tweaking the chassis?

Roll stiffness is adjusted via separate small coil springs that are not visible on the picture.

4.205 would have been ok, as would 4.209, the rule was 4.20, first time it happens you got a warning, second time you weren't allowed to take part in that run. In case anyone is interested I was doing about 5800mah a run, I was using very little brakes.
