Anyone using the LAB P12 EVO FRONT END INTERNATIONAL KIT? How do you like it? I thought I would install it on my Frankenstein TAMIYA RM01X

Regarding tire: So after reading the wiki, what category do CRC'S Blu / Greene fit in?

I'm 99% sure the new blu and greene are a Japanese foam, the old blue and green are a standard foam.

Any idea if they would be the "c", "s", or "r" group?

1/8 nitrobuggy can eat $60 tires in a single run. I'd love a spec tire in off road. 2wd buggy is the worst though. Wrong tire and you lose. ,At least 4wd cars can get by with mediocre tires.

Sine purple stripes work fine on CRC carpet, I don't see the issue. Those seem to have a decent life.

Well, yes and no. Before purple stripes, I would use an Ulti 3 pack of fronts and rears for a 3day event with 1 set for practice making a total of 4 sets. Now, I use 7-10 sets of purple stripes. They are good for up to 2 maybe 3 runs, after that they become boat anchors in the corners and eat your corner speed.

At least in JFT, C30 is green, C35 blue.

I know once again for a club race were have a few more 21.5 GT12's. Each race we have afew more getting ready for the next race. Afew years ago !/12th was a dying class Now it's coming back strong. They are fun to drive .We get plenty of runs on our spec tires.

GT12 is a growing class for us as well with a 21.5 motor. Really fun to run and a feeder for 17.5 LMP, we're seeing a little growth there too.

Are you making a case FOR rubber tires?!?!?! Wait till Rayfield hears. It's the 'naughty list' for you, my friend. :)

What tires do you recommend for ETS Carpet? What type of foam and hardness?

antlockyer 12-23-2019 07:25 AM

Ulti X medium all round.

Uneven front ride height

Front ride height is uneven it's off by .3. tires are the same size. King pins are symetrical. Along with everything else. Car isnt tweaked either.

what brand of car? Here’s something to check...remove wheels, springs, and kingpins......set chassis on setup board, and measure the distance from the setup board to the top of the two lower pivot balls.....right where the steering blocks rest on the lower balls.
