Thanks for the help, right now i will try anything to get this car running better.Yes the carpet is old and it has seen better days.So many different tires and combos to try its a little confusing for a rookie.Cant find the team purple/lilac combo is double purple the same as purple/lilac?

It's team purple or lilac, not a combo. BSR is the only brand that makes the team purple as fas as I know, lilac is available from a few tire brands. And no double purple is not the same.

BSR Team Purple = Jaco Lilac = CRC 'WGT Stripe"

Same foam, mounted by the same company but called different things based on brand. Little confusing .. but they are the same.

This will either add clarification or confusion... there is one more to add to the list from BSR as they offer the team purple in both a standard front tire as ByteStream eluded to (#F1233) and with the purple stripe where rules require the control version of the tires (#F1233GT)

Doesn't matter. Works both ways the same.

When I've seen it done people put the front wheels on the bubble, the rears on the fixed plate, as that's how the car drives (rear stays flat and front rolls)
Also, disconnect the side tubes when doing it.

After I isolate and set tweak separately front and rear, then I put the car on the tweak station with the rear pod on the rotating section just to verify.

If you set the car up right you really don't need a tweak station.

Black Carpet Tire Selection

Hey again guys and girls,

At the moment I am running CRC spec tires on the black carpet, they aren't bad. But, does anyone know of a faster combination than spec? Our WCICS rules state open foam for both Mod and Stock 12th scale, so I'd like to give different tires a try.

Thanks,
Colin

Don't look too hard... the current years rules show spec tire.

The website is in need of maintenance as the rules are not available from a link there.

Ah, my bad. I was looking at the obviously outdated class general rules chart. I know the guys work hard and do it for free, but that's enough to confuse me who knows who else it could confuse. LOL.

Either way, probably going to be running mod 12th too... we'll see how that turns out.
