I ran them before and they are pretty equal to the Parma foams

My dad & I got this trick from OD.
It is 16ga from Castle Creations.
BTW there are 3 different cars pictured and we run the same wiring
layout on all of our twelves. take care, shaggy

Scottrik, my dad is "burgboyz", and no we stick with the 20's.
Occasionally he'll slap on a set of 22's just to try them. (very rarely though)

I got the same wires and even some better ones that are smaller in diameter but it just doesn't sit well with the 3800 batteries I'm using...

Thanks Shaggy--have you tried the color-coded Murdock springs though? Do they (maybe) hold out longer before sacking out than the standard Associated/CRC springs do. Someone somewhere must make a spring using better steel...

Luv the color coded idea. But, we haven't tried them yet.
I know guys that have and they like 'em!!

Peter,
If you are using Castle Creations 16ga they should fit under the batteries with room to spare. I think you could even fit three wires if you stacked the third wire (can you say "brushless"?). I have had no problem with this set up with 3300, 3700, and 3800 mah batteries.
Another trick is to strip the insulation from the wire where it goes under the batteries and shrink wrap it. This gives you a very small diameter wire and allows the use of other brands of wire (my favorite is Dean's 16ga)

For the steering link on my SP12M can I get rid of the rods and go with turnbuckles? What would my advantages or disadvantages be? Thanks.

Hey Jason,

How did the diff rings go in the end?
Will they be included in your latest conversion.

Darren

the diff rings worked extremely well.the car felt really good.there actually was a difference in handling believe it or not.the difference in the smoother more free diff made the car rotate extremely well(better than usual).im not going to include them in my chassis conversion but they will be in the full car kit.the conversion kit almost is the full car in a sense.i just need to put a few more things in there
