Thats cool. The 3 Star is a 6.5T so me and Marcos should have similar power. I am looking forward to running my BL system. Gearing is the main thing I will have to figure out.

marcos said he ran 35mm and the motor was cold afterwards.i would imagine a little taller than that.maybe 37-38mm possibly.its gonna be fun tommorow.

do you still want me to bring the 5800 motor?

protc3 07-29-2006 05:22 PM

I think we are all going to be really close. Our first run will be really interesting. You are one up on me and Marcos because you know the perfect roll out for a 10T. You won't have to fool around with gearing. Marcos and I will be looking at your lap times so we can see if we are geared right.

I wonder if we all will make time...lol! My batts are pretty beat up.

HAVE FUN SUCKERS...........

You guys have fun @ Speedline. I was watching Marcos car today with the 3 star BL @ Fast Track and it was super fast. I'm sure he is pumped for Sunday so he can open her up on a bigger track ( Speedline).

Anyone set-up to record the Mod 12th races?

CYA............

Hey Jason how was "Miami Vice"? Devil wears Prada was great!!! :D

( I figured Ill say something before you did!!!)

theisgroup 07-29-2006 09:26 PM

at least jason will have to do battery management. with the brushless, it is not really a concern. with 3800, and the 3 star, you should have plenty of juice.

4 of us ran that same setup (lrp/ready) at last years region 9 regionals and one of us ran a 10 double. the guys with the 10 double did have to do some battery management, but we were all right there in speed.

maybe this will help, but the brushed motor won out at the end.
