I really want to purchase this car, but its just the front bumper mount, if someone made a carbonfibre one for it, I would already would have had this kit, I know it does nothing for performance, but visually it looks really good and all my cars have it, so hopfully some one will make one

I would love to see kyosho come out with a new chassis with all of VASCOs mods done to it ....that way we can just swap out the asphalt chassis (which is by far the best car i have ever driven on asphalt)....and slap in the carpet chassis and its golden all around.

shorty?
Has anyone tried a shorty style battery in the forward position? Maybe this would help on carpet since it would move the weight of the battery toward the front.

Well what i find interesting is on the kyosho website the tf6sp is listed under "outdoor onroad" which is its intended use i guess and they did a great job of it.....but no sedans listed under indoor....something for them to think of in the future i guess.......i bet if they concentrated on a carpet sedan it would be stellar.

All I can tell you guys for now is that we're working very hard to improve the car on carpet..
There will be a special offer on the kit including free parts as Phil mentioned. As if right now we're looking into what parts to include in the kit, lowering the price etc. If everything goes according to plan Kyosho will put the offer out there somewhere around April.
Since the SP kit is not the newest on the market anymore its most likely that the special kit will include new parts that are currently being tested like new suspension mounts, servo holder, upperdeck etc. All these parts can be expected to be included in the updated kit. Next to those new 'prototype parts' there will most likely be steel axles/outdrives and short suspension arms included for a bulletproof car and make the car more suited for pro-stock racing when needed with the short wishbones. When combined this should bring the car back to the sharp end of the field, on both asphalt and carpet.
Furthermore I'm pushing the car designer to create a new motor mount which moves the motor more forwards in order to make the car easier on carpet. This part still needs to be designed and tested though..
I'll ask Kyosho to make an update package too so people can update their current TF6(sp) cars to the latest standards without having to buy a completely new kit.
Distribution should not really be an issue, as Joachim mentioned he's able to sell and ship the cars (and possible update kits) worldwide. This has been done before and as far as I know all customers are very happy with this service.
If there's any news you guys are the first to know!

get them to make a front carbon bumper top support and I,ll start saving for a kit, always wanted this car, but it was the lack of the top piece that kept me away, I like my cars looking uniform, keep us updated thanks
