Default SXX2 ?

I would like to buy a LRP speedo to enter in stock class 10.5 - To my point of view, the SXX2 is better than the SXXSS because i could programm the SXX2 with the SXXSS programm.

Am i wrong ?

Default I tried :)

Hy all , reguarding the stock orion 11.5t motor wif the sxx ss i tried using it for 3 days now n running it, it seems just to be fine with no cog and a bit of modifight on the motor, what i do is that i change the original O ring inside from 1mm if im not mistaken to 0.5mm sims at the motor route (lower part) and add the upper top i added a 0.5mm sims to make it level as in original one so thats it .. Just helpping out a bit ..

Hmm.... I wonder if LRP is going to do a exchange deal for those who bought the original SXX SS, considering that most of us are still having some problems with it, and its not even 6 months since the release of it!

I haven't had any issues with it so far.

Rock Solid

But the updatability feature would be nice to have.

They won't bother about it even their support on this forum is almost none.

I asked directly to LRP about the possibility to charge differents firmwares over the LRP SXX SS like the SXX V2 can do and they told me that is not possible do that. Only the Version2 can change firmwares
I asked if it was possible switch inside the SXX SS a modified firmware and may be rolling back to a stock firmware...and is not possible

I was told there is a version 2 sxx ss on the way. This is anoying as i just got my replacement sxx ss mk3 back from LRP.

In regards to running this ESC in limited 1/12th pan car(non boosted 17.5). Does anyone know if this one or even SXX Version2 can be updated to a non boosted mode via usb?
I bought an SPX Zero, but it doesn't seem to be able to support 1s lipo as it doesn't state it has the twin BEC setup and will thus require a separate lipo/booster.

My apologies as I just found the answer, in case anyone searches this topic I will leave it up.

Taken from the SXX Version2 manual, SXX StockSpec ESC states the same that mode #0 will disable all boost:

"MODE.3 (Dual ADPC MOD - "Boost"): the "Boost" adjustment is LRP‘s active motor timing system, depending on many different factors (current, throttle position, RPM, etc) the software calculates the perfect commutation.

MODE LED #0 #1 #2 #3 #4 #5 #6 #7 #8 #9 #10
Yellow/Red disabled Going from mildest to most aggressive timing profile (value 1 = minimum / value 10 = maximum) (alternate)

Caution: too high "Boost" values increase motor temperature excessively and in the worst case may damage your motor, make sure you find the best performance by increasing values step by step carefully!

Advise: if value #0 is chosen for Mode.3 the blue LED will flash in neutral position in normal operation to indicate that entire timing advancement is disabled completely for "true stock racing" as required by certain federations!

Hi,

what's the difference between the Nosram 90910 and the 90955 ?

I'm interested in trying one with a 13.5 and maybe 10.5. I'm currently using the Speed Passion's which i'm happy with but there's so many settings to tweak and what I like about the Nosram/Lrp is you only really have Feel and Boost to adjust, so I can spend more time tweaking the car rather than the speedo, that's the idea anyway

nosram 90910 is the same as the SXX ss mk3, the 90955 is the same as the SXX version 2 (newer updateable version)

personally, i wouldnt reccomend the SXX mk3. ive just had a brand new one fail with in 2 meetings.
practise was fine, went to switch on for first heat on sunday, nothing, no signs of anything wrong, (switch, wiring problems etc) not smell.

pretty disappionted tbh
