Sakura Zero - New Touring Car!
#1306
hello
Hi what's is the different between Sakura zero and Sakura zero s"????
#1308
The Zero S is the "entry level" version of the Zero. It's got FRP instead of graphite/CF and plastic instead of aluminum for some of the parts. You could convert a Zero S to a Zero by getting all of the parts individually if you wanted to. Other than that they are the same chassis. You can download the manuals for both from 3racing's site if you want to compare them piece by piece.

Surprising just how much of the 'S' is actually plastic.
Only significant alloy chassis part is the Motor mount.
Shock towers are FRP.
FRP chassis isnt that bad, much more rigid than my Xray T3R FRP chassis
Shocks are UNTHREADED plastic, uses shims . A bit disappointing (but I knew in advance)
'S' has fr & rear gear diffs. A big bonus point.
Also has wheels .
Cheers

Have had them both.
Sakura Zero with the Tamiya 416 rear mod and still own a 416X lipo.
Diff's,pulleys and springs you can use when you have the plus4 shocktower up front and the rear mod done.
Some use the C-hubs from the sakura on there 416 but i didn't.
Never had any quality issues

Your welcome.
Use the Sakura X1 rear lower arms and then use the normall suspensionblocks.
You get a smaller rear but more rear end grip.
Mine had the same and was awsome.
I needed to alter the front setup to get more steering.
It was a very neutral car after that.
Used the same setup on the TRF as on the Sakura.
Lap times where just 2 tenth apart but that was due to a different motor in the Sakura(Speedpassion in Sakura and LRP in the TRF).
