Any chance you can make to the TZGP in November for some carpet racing?

HAHA! You know that's not how it is. Your car is dialed and I am trying to figure out why the front gear diff is making my car loose.

Paul . have a question for ya about a T3 12 used as a 21.5 gt car (1450g)
I'm running 45wt/2.9rsd front springs
35wt/2.6 Xray springs in rear
. med role blocks all around
. med length upper links .
Have the shaved rear front mounts for suspention(hopefully u know what I mean)
Think 2.5 toe per side (2mm shim in rear ) 50mm rear CVS
Rear Shocks mid on arm and I'm pretty sure one hole out in rear
Front shocks mid hole on arm center hole on tower.
1.4 front sway /no rear sway
Neg 1 deg camber front /2deg toe out total
Neg 2 deg camber rear
Car is perfectly balanced , slight heavier in rear .
Running 5.4 in front /2mm over ride height
Running 5.2in rear /3mm over ride height
(Last thing) Lol xpattern hpi tires .....
I'm getting massive rear tire ware in ?REAR?
So when I rotate tires to maintain even tire ware car washes out (no rear traction till near end of run).
I'm sure its partially the tires but do u see anything way off on setup to make it overheat rear tires ?
All 4 new and first run is (3-5min ) ,rear of car is loose ,to break them in . clean them , and go back out for a qualifier .... Car runs great but rear tires r 10-15 deg hotter than front and show ware. Fronts look almost new . rotate tires and clean and car goes to crap , but if I don't rotate them the rear tires will be garbage after 3-4 runs ...
Sorry for all the rambling just wanted u to have all the info in one post
Tks paul

Hey Paul, just dropping by to say hi. I see you didn't sign up for the GLC this year, hope to catch up with you someplace else soon. By the way, do you club race at all?

Hmm, odd that the rears would wear faster, is it the same tire/wheel/insert front and rear?
I can definitely see that rotating the rear tires would make the car not run good and require another break in period. I assume that it is 90% tires in this case but if you are looking to make a bit less rear tire wear and more front tire wear you can move weight forward, ie: bigger spur/pinion if possible, battery more forward, shorter front wheelbase and longer rear wheelbase.
A byproduct of moving weight forward will be that the car will likely push more though and you might have to re adjust the set up, maybe more front camber and less rear or some little tweaks.

Good luck!

is that 2mm per side? if so that would be like 5deg or more rear toe which then yes. at 1mm per side with the Hagberg mod it would be around 3.5 which is ok.

Thanks
