What if me or someone else mailed you a stock losi spur, so you could get the exact dimensions of the actual teeth? From there I'm pretty sure you just need the depth, diameter, ect of the actual adapter, and the spacing measurement for the screw holes. Sorry if I'm not describing the technical stuff correctly... but anyhow I have a stock spur I could mail out this week if it would help. Let me know.

Default Spur gear adapters !

Perhaps some one could make plaster molds ad send them to fathead ? Or he could just dremmel off most of a spur gear leaving only the belt drive part of the gear. Mounting holes could be drilled by buyers/end users for their specific spur gear application ????

OOPS

I'd honesty rather just ship an actual item out than a plaster mold.

fathead- if you can get these made, I'm sure we could work something out so that a batch could be mailed here, and then sold individually from there. But that's all just thinking ahead... something to look at later on. I'm pretty sure a good number of these will get bought up though. I'd take at least 3 or more myself.

I really only need dimensions of everything apart from the teeth, the teeth are a standard profile to match the belts, software I have automatically produces the correct profile all it needs to know is the number of teeth and profile code which I have, I could also do different number of teeth easily if needed

Also do people want M3 tapped holes or imperial equivalent for spur mounting? I only have M3 tap currently.

These will all be the same price regardless of if I make 5 or 50,not looking to make big coin, just want to help fellow racers out

Default Adding or subtracting belt teeth

By adding or subtracting belt teeth, you could use the yellow or green XXX4 belts with the standard tensioner and pulley ( more teeth ) and by subracting a tooth or two, Josh Howards' belts could be used without modifying the chassis !!!!

As far as tapping holes go, Losi uses 4-40 imperial ( aka. standard ) but M3 works fine as it is only a little larger and an M3 tap can open up a 4-40 hole w/o drilling also an abundance of RC M3 hardware available.

I think I will do at least 2 pairs of spur mounting holes, 1 tapped M3 and the other either just drilled or tapped 4/40.

I can easily do 2 or 3 different tooth counts, just let me know guys.
Different tooth count is as easy as changing the number in a box, here is 23 & 21T, also generates spokes automatically in various configurations

You give me too much credit good sir!
I'm just a guy who likes to make some stuff in his spare time!
I get the most reward out of doing the little jobs (like this) that pretty much wouldn't get done otherwise.
