After meeting several of the NorCal racers at the TimeZone Gran Prix this past weekend I'm writing this one on the calendar as a "can't miss unless Charlize Theron invites me over" event. Ya'll are going to have to provide quick lessons for playing on pavement though as I've always been a member of "carpet's fer racin', asphalt's fer drivin' there" school. I've got a grand total of ONE asphalt 1/12 event under my belt.

And if it's possible that Mr. Jason Colgan himself might be there...I'd have to pack my (his) BMI TC3 along for a reunion!!

What's the correct date? I'm seeing Aug 12-15 on NorCal's site and 5-8 on ROAR's:confused:

I plan on going:nod:

Is there going to be any Master's classes??

At this point any time before the last week of August works for me.

Congratulations. I was stationed in Alameda during the early '90s and lived in Dublin. There are a million things to do in the area and should make a great family vacation. I just wish Grandma still had her house in Fremont.

Should be fun alot of things to do up there during that time. Weather is going to be nice and all the guys up there are friendly and the competition is very good.

I'm lucky enough to be local to this track and would like to say to all the out of towners that this should be a great event. Kevin, Eric & the crew at Norcal have put togeather a great facility with some increadible tracks (onroad/offroad/oval & carpet). The pavment for the on-road is a smooth as it gets and they put down some great layouts. If you have'nt been there, your missing out on something really special.
