Hi Dale, don't suppose you'd know what shell this guy was running?

Default Kit selection

Ok so being a bit lazy and not reading the 300+ pages before asking advice. So feel free to admonish but also provide advice lol.

Looking to branch out from F1 and TC to 1/10 pan. Of the current year kits, do any of them come with all the parts (minus tires and body) to easily go from pro-10 to WGT to WGTR? Want to be able to swap over at the track based on how many show up for what class that week. Thanks.

If you want to get a Pro 10 get one that is strictly a Pro 10 car and not one you convert to WGT. Most WGT cars can con be converted to WGT-R with ease.

So is the X-ray X10 more of a WGT car or Pro-10? That’s one I’m looking at since I already use all X-ray kits.

many of the 200mm WGT and R versions cars have 4-bolt rear mount wheel diffs. they work well in pro10 classes especially on smaller/medium size tracks. even on the larger 1/8th scale size tracks some racers run various width cars below 235mm. finding 200mm bodies tend to be a issue. i have found the below, maybe more out there

mon-tech mf10 015-005
teamsaxo TS-02064
RJspeed 1052

some of the F1 cars using JC conversion to run LMP bodies and changing out rear diff could be run in pro10. i have seen in EU videos some 200mm F1 cars run with foam...rather insane and fast

Yea I live near steel and looking to do proto cup. Going to do Mod TC and maybe Pro-10 but trying to find a kit, if it exist, to run pro-10 there but also Wgt at The other smaller tracks. Looks like I’m wanting something that doesn’t exist though.

CRC makes aluminum hub extenders for the rear axle and a wide front graphite front plate for easy conversion of their 200mm WGT cars to convert them to 235mm.

I wouldn't use the hub extenders. That would add to much weight and vibration to the rear. Instead get the IRS hubs and axle kit.

Ask the race organisers if you can run a 200mm car at the Protoform Cup. It would make it easier for racers to participate. The bodies listed by fast-ho-cars would fit right in.
