looking for options. I have a few of the old school front suspension arms and am wondering what steering blocks are still available. I see Xenon, would they work on this kingpin? and does the different degree options mean camber?

Why would you wanna run that front suspension? You can easily mount a newer type of suspension or even the R5 front with the right blocks (hyperdrive or corally)

Speedmerchant sells these. Zen Racing in the UK sells them for their GT12 car. You can find them all over ebay too. The king pin is 1/8". The degree options should be caster/camber pairs.

Cost and simplicity. They will be going on a few pro10 projects. I do have the front suspension on my 10l2 but seems so tall and flimsy

I see what your saying, I thought the mount to chassis bolt pattern was different but the mounts and or whole kit comes to fit the older 10L chassis mount pattern, if that makes sense.

The holes on the 10L will fit the hyperdrive and corally blocks. That way, the R5 front will fit...

My front end
It runs now with the Hyperdrive inline front axles instead of the Asso axles

Hi jetnjme, for stock A-E stuff check LApartshouse.com. Also e-bay has some cheap looking steering blocks with aluminum center line axles, but I don't think you want those...looks like double weak points to me. Pro10noob seems to have the right idea.

Are you using the B3/T3 kingpins?

Hi Pro10noob, I was just wondering about the car in the center picture. what are you trying to achieve by the front end set up? It seems that you were trying to get stiffness by adding the front end plate as well as lower ride height, but it seems to me you are adding flex because of the way that the suspension components hang out beyond the chassis. Is this a custom build or just a Corrally set up that I'm not really familiar with?

That is a VIP Vorlon chassis in build.
It's made out of 3mm carbon fibre so very little flex.

Not my choice anymore to use a mounting plate though...

@1spunspur...... What Joost said.
This the stock Vorlon build.
Tobias made this design so you only have to change the front plate to mount a different front suspension brand instead of changing the whole chassis that will cost more.
For me as i am using mostly Associated front end, i let Tobias made the chassis plate to my liking and dimensions.
I wanted the front suspension directly mounted on the chassis and that i why my car(last pic) don't has the loose front plate.
