I've spent quite a few thousand with Amain and RCmart, never had missing items though I did once receive some MINI-Z items I never ordered. I do however consider there to be risks in ordering overseas, I can deal with that, if it were small items missing Id ignore it, Not worth the hassle.

Generally here in NZ the rule of thumb is $400 before customs will apply GST though I have never yet been pinged and I have been well over that in the past.

Local LHS is a 2 hour drive, has no knowledge of RC's and parts (Tamiya only) can take up to 3 months to arrive and cost twice as much.

So far neither order I placed on Tuesday have been processed.

As I posted earlier I made two orders last Tuesday night, As of right now its Tuesday morning so almost exactly a week.

Order from Amain has arrived this very morning, Order from RCmart took 4 days to be processed and has been in the HK mail system for three days....and has not as yet left HK.

Well done to Amain, Wanganui New Zealand is a long long way for this little package to travel.

I have to agree, they are kinda slow. My very first order from them was on Friday the 28th, it didn't leave HK until the 5th.

I use rcmodel most of the time when I shop on the net. My last order took a week to get to Melbourne (received yesterday). I find their postage prices are better than most as well.

Amain and RCMart have been good to me so far...

Only hate the 3 day wait before items are sent out for RCMart. Amain ships out super fast (order 02/09/2009, shipped 02/09/2009, received 08/09/2009)

I received my order today, so only 5 days of actual transit time from HK to California that's pretty good. My next order from them will be for a 3Racing F109 kit.

well all the hk shops are quite slow when it comes to processing orders, it takes between 2-5 days for most stores i`m shopping from (then 1-3days for hk post to actually ship the order)

but for the money saved its well worth it

I find Rcmarket quite quick to process

They not the best in terms of stocking nor variety but normally if they have it and i need it quickly I get it there

I received my parts in reasonable time, but there ia a problem with one of the parts and instead of dealing with it they've referred me to the manufacturer, 3Racing.

i just received an order from rcmart.com, they took 1 week to ship which infuriated me because i paid for EMS shipping. When the order arrived 2 peices were missing. I let them know but it took 1 week to reply and all they told me was "we always check the order before shipment".

I will avoid them if I can next time, although there prices are sick.
