im sure you can take the steering spindles and grind them down some to give you the option off using shims to adjust the ride hieght. shouldnt be to hard to do. also i was thinking about the f104 rubber rim issue and was wondering how much narrower is the rear end from the front end with the use of these wheels. because if we figure that out it should be easy to either run hex shims like on tc's in the rear to compensate or shim the axle a little on each side to make up the difference.
any thoughts would be greatly appreciated as i am expecting these wheels to be here tomorrow for my f109 and i would like to be prepared on what to expect so i can figure out a solution we can all use. if it comes down to making a new axle im sure i can make some at work and who ever would like one im sure we could work something out.

fastest motor for f109
I was going to get a brushless 5.5t motor but my buddy reckons 8.5t is the limit for f109. My local track is medium-large in size. It has plenty of grip. What sort of motor do you recommend.

5.5t in a F109 is Waaaaaaaaaayyyyy overpowered. I would beat you with a std 540 as you would just be going in circles and spinning out whilst I would get around the track.
Are you running 1 or 2 cell lipo? With 2 cell 10.5 is really fast

the max motor in a F109 i would recomend is a 10.5 with 2 cell lipo and thats going to be hairy
why not try a slower motor that going to be easy to drive fast, 15.5 lrp eraser, and any 17.5 motor as a starting point.

and there is me looking to go 1s with a, HPI 15t Firebolt motor, to try and find this missing traction on a damp track

Hi all. New to F1 and just picked up a 3Racing F109 on ebay! Coming from Hong Kong so hopefully it will arrive soon. Cant wait to start building this thing. Ive been reading though the posts and have come across lots of useful info. Could someone provide a link to a seller that has the Associated and CRC springs for the F109?
Thanks.
Thanks.

The F109 looks like a real nice car. Does anyone know if it's available to purchase in North America? Is here any distributor....mail order business ?
Thanks - Dale
