Who's got em in stock right now?

texastc 06-19-2011 07:50 PM

Just got mine put together and on the track today. I am impressed. really impressed. Box stock and and no set up it was on rails on carpet. I had to dial my steering down to 50% to keep from traction rolling. It really handled the track very well. And Im not a good driver. I will be getting some more speed into it to see how well it goes from there. I used a 1s battery and a 17.5 today. I dont know what is typically used in F1, but thats is what I used today.

Just got a reply from http://www.tqrcracing.com/ and he says they are about to start stocking the F109! Perfect, I bought my sakura from them, now I can buy more stuff from them!

another note, looks like since I put the F109 on our local track, its drummed up some interest in the F1s, but I have af feeling if we start a class we might go rubber tire on the carpet. Whats a good rubber tire for med grip carpet? Hearing about Rides alot on this thread but cant seem to find a particular post on carpet rubbers.

I am wondering if anyone has tried using the F104 rear pod on the F109 yet? If so what did you do for the dampening? I've been looking at my F109 and not liking using the spacers to get ride height low enough for the F104 tires as it messes up the angle of the connector to the side damper.
