Patrick, great video from BCR series 3. Bing just told me about this and I can't believe I missed this here. Also the horse power from Leo V and Mike R's car! This was the first time ever I raced the Genetic...this thing is good!

Thanks Mr. Carl F. Can someone suggest what servos might be the right size, stength, and speed for the Genetic?

I have been using a futaba s9551 digital low profile servo - fits into the standard servo mount hole pattern yet is low profile, with plenty of strength and speed.

Does anyone know if a 3x6x2.5 bearing will fit in the aluminum steering rack?

Here is the proposed format for this weeekend,
Track setup begins at 7:15am Saturday and should be ready to go by 9:00am

Controlled practice begins Saturday with the following order:

9:00am - 9:10am = 1/10 Nitro Sedan (if any)
9:15am - 9:25am = 1/5 Street
9:30am - 9:40am = 1/5 F-1
9:45am- 9:55am = 1/8 Nitro 4WD open / IGT
10:00am - 10:10am = R/C Superbike (if any)
10:15am - 10:25am = 1/5 STC
10:25am - 10:30am = Track reconfiguration for electric
10:30am - ? 5min group practice sessions, 12 drivers per group for ABC, RCGT, MINI / NITRO MINI (all drivers will sign in on a practice sheet)
After electric practice, track is reconfigured and round starts over.

Please keep in mind that this is subject to change depending on numbers per class. Electric is up last to give the guys a chance to charge batteries and familiarize themselves with the club format.

FYI - Because the electrics are guests this weekend, GLARCRC will NOT be charging a practice fee this Saturday (electrics, and nitro minis only)

Sunday Format (Raceday)

Since we have a restriction of starting a gas engine before 8:00am, we will begin Sunday with practice for all electrics and nitro Mini's from 7:00am till 7:50am.

From 8:00am till 9:00am, all other classes will have controlled practice
1/10 Nitro Sedan
1/8 4WD OPEN / IGT
All 1/5 classes
R/C Superbike

Signup will be open from 7:00am till 8:30am, qualifying will get underway at around 9:15am with electric up first.

Good luck to all U guys and thanks for allowing the GLARCRC to host round #4 of the series To Patrick, Danny, Yusuke, Shaw. Thank You for your help and support. We want to learn as much as we can to make your racing experience with us the most fun on the parking lot circuit as we are open for comments and suggestions. After this first event, you the racers are all invited to share your thoughts.

We are very interested in electric racing for the 2010 season and if the interest oif the electric community is there, we would be happy to support the racing.

Let's have fun this weekend guys!!

Anyone rocking an ABC in the NJ area? We're running 17.5 4wd Mini class for ABCs and CupRacers at the new Jackson R/C facility in NJ. Check out the thread if you're nearby! http://www.rctech.net/forum/racing-f...-r-c-09-a.html
