What happened to the re-design of the Genetic?

As I've said before, they already have another design in the wings.
The Team Atlas Beat, made by ABC and a belt-drive car that most people have never heard of.

I was just on the ABC Hobby USA website, and it's not working properly, plus ALL of their cars, the Goose, Genetic, and Grid, whether in kit form or RTR are all listed as "out of stock"!! Are they going out of business or something?

I own a Goose, and was going to recommend their cars to some friends, but now I'm not sure if I should! Anyone know what's up with them?

Don't know if they are going out of business or not but some of the Grid RTRs are still available. The parts are also available.

TQ Racing has a couple of kits left! They do sell like hotcakes once in awhile.

Hey guys (there are some familiar faces in here) I had an ABC Genetic dropped in my lap this past weekend and I'm looking for some very basic setup advice. I've never seen one of these up close before and know nothing about fancy stuff like droop screws, etc.

So, would i set one of these up sort of like a Tamiya mini, with more grip rear, less grip front, or am I looking at changing my whole perspective? I'll be running on carpet, with a silver can.

BTW, TG, I cut out one of the plates for the 03 rear steer thing. I have to figure out how to make it work cleanly now. More distance/linkage always adds up to more slop! It's building into the 03 everything I hate about the 05.

Alrighty, how about spur gears? Are these specially made for the Genetic? They don't appear to use the standard 3 hole bolt pattern. Any ideas where to buy?
