Just a thought...wouldn't some of the CD3, LD3 parts fit this car as it looks very similar suspension/drivetrain wise...spool from CD3, pillowball suspension, blade style swaybar
the gear housings are identical except the cd3 has an extra screw boss on the top
my CD3 is 197mm wide with 26mm tires with the o-ring style hexes.

thats what i mean, you should easily be able to put the pb suspension onto the JL. The bolt pattern for the diff hsgings are identical

it looks like you could take the whole assembly, aluminum steering rack and all, swap out the gears in the CD3 diff housing for the ball carriers and bolt it in. The other option is if you have the ld/cd3 just get the carbon chassis and swap the rest over. You would have to get the jl motor mount and spur gear, battery holder, driveshaft etc.

Parts to convert to pillowball suspension
Below is a list of parts required to change to pillow ball. Not sure if the CVDs are required. You would also need to make 2 short spacers to go on top of the diff case to mount the top plate. This may widen the suspension by 2mm overall as my CD3 seems to be 197mm wide. I included the graphite shock tower kit as I do not think the stock plastic tower would work and it is quite flexy The weak point on this setup is the graphite rear upper pin holder. they tend to break if the wheel contacts anything semi solid. The good thing is you can still run with one broken so you won't DNF a race.
Also if one wanted to convert the diffs to gears this would be possible using the LD3/CD3 parts.
