Snowbirds Report Day 3
Day 3 (Thursday) of the 2010 Snowbirds marked the first day of qualifying. The on-road drivers put in two qualifiers today and there really were no big surprises…most of the drivers that were on top of the charts in practice rose to the top once again.
Drivers still continue to search for the elusive traction that is missing at this year’s Birds. Normally, there is more traction that you need, but due to the new Trinity Sticky Fingers compound, it really has changed the feel this year.
On the ESC front, Tekin and Advanced seem to be at the top of the charts taking more then one TQ. Stay tuned for more results Friday as the on-road drivers have the only one round tomorrow.
Check out another cool video highlighting some of the top Futaba and Checkpoint team drivers including 13.5 Rubber Tire TQ Barry Baker and 17.5 Rubber Tire TQ Brad Johnson.

I would think the lack of traction would be do to basically no foam cdan? Maybe i'm wrong though.
