Does it have....
1. Steering dual rate button at the front?
2. Idle up function for nitro?
3. ABS?
4. Timer up/down with audible alarm?
5. Throttle and steering exponential (same as t/s curve??)
6. Can you use Novak receivers?
7. And a failsafe function like on the 3PK HRS?

Thanks.

Kenshin,
I have attached the response mode table for the Helios.

Hi all,
I just got my Helios, a couple more questions, mine only came with the radio, manual, receiver, and the foam thingy in the plastic baggy. I was hoping it would come with rechargeable batts, dsc cable of sorts and a rec switch for my nitro, I guess not. Is this normal? Also, the silver button bar underneath the steering wheel is a little loose enough to rattle about a .5 mm or so when you shake the radio as compared to a computer mouse button. Well that's it for now. Thanks.

tc3 racer,
The steering wheel that you see is either the hubcap pulled off of the steering wheel or the BBS style from the Mars R. All of the wheels are interchangeable.

When you open the box, you get the radio, receiver, battery holder, and a set of crystals. The other equipment you mentioned is all seperate. My Helios doesn't rattle, so I dunno what it might be.

Hi guys can anyone tell me if the 302rx will work with the Mars R Not really looking for performance need to use it for size:confused: :tire:

Bodido 01-23-2004 09:45 AM

I'm not really clear on recievers and interoperability between brands, so.....

Will the Helios work with my Noval xxl's intended for Futaba FM. What about my Futaba crystals. They are dual conversion.

I'd really like to try a Helios this year but replacing all of my recievers and crytals would be financially painful.

chrisman 01-23-2004 10:25 AM

I'm going to pick up the Helio today...and I agree with Bodido...I'll be painfull if I have to replaced all of my receivers...so I'm keeping my finger x until I try it..:D

I have used my Helios with an XXL that I also used with my Presto and 3pdf futaba radio, along with Futaba xtals. I have also used it with the 3pdf's receiver, and the 297 Presto receiver too. The only thing is that you won't get the HRS benefits

Nope, you have to buy the ext. unit that is for the Helios.
