I finally bought a Helios. It took me a long time to decide which radio to get. I'm so happy with this radio!! very cool!! Funny thing though is that a kid said to me, "Nice Ray Gun!" hahahaha

I know this question has probably been answered in the middle pages. But it'll take time to search thru them.

I know there is a switch at the Module part H and N. If I set it to H and use digital servos will the unit be operatin at advanced HSR mode? Or do i have to set something else? advanced HSR is the fastest, ryt? thanks!

I am using the Sportwerks/Team Magic one and it works fine for the Helios w/ my Spektrum module on the back. Unless you are looking for a hard case, then I can't help you.

Yea, the actual hard plastic case. My iron dropped on it a while ago and now I want to change it. I heard that you can buy it but no one can tell me where from. Maybe Robert from KO Propo can tell me?

go to home depot. buy an alu case for about $40... then get some foam and cut it out

They're also pretty big cases, so you can fit more stuff in them

Harbor Freight has aluminum cases with pre-cut foam inserts for under $30.00

The aluminum case I bought from Lowes came with the foam liners. Took the tool orginizer side out of it. I think its the same one at Home Depot. It holds 2 aircraft radios nicely, But not too sure if a Helios with a wheel extension would fit might be too big. Measure the radio, then try the local home improvement store.

I have one of these... i'm sure i've posted about it in here before.

it's an excellent case, has provision for spektrum. and with some mucking about will also fit the radio with wheel extension. has sections for crystals, modules, spare batt box, etc.

I consider it excellent, just the right size, and super light weight.

it's from www.rcmart.com and well priced!

That's good. But are you sure it will fit Helios with extension?

From the looks of it, it won't fit the extension unless you cut out a part of the foam according to the extension.

the foam in the lid section has a removable bit of foam.

I've had my helios in there, with wheel extension. i had to remove the spektrum module from the back to make it fit though, it was snug..
