Just go to the Tekin RS thread and do a search on "weak brakes".

As you run a Tekin Redline motor you have no weak brakes.
The Speedpassion motor is braking not good but that is the slowest motor I got.
The Tekin and the LRP motor's brake good.
My best motor is the Tekin Redline.
That is incredible fast.

thanks for the info mkky32... I will most likely once I get things purchased be running all redline motors...

You will love it.
I have the Turbo already on my speedo.
I drive with a Tekin Redline motor 10,5T on 5 cell. It's just incredible fast.
Gear it light. very light. Infield is great and very good top speed.

"Gear it light." meaning gear it high or low?

Alex

I gear my car about 6,4 to 6,9 FDR
All other drivers use a 4,5 to 5,4 FDR.
LRP motor about 6 FDR and speedpassion about 5,4 FDR

That's the different.
It's quit big but the Turbo helps to go faster.

I tried it today on the big track and I can tell you that Tekin is with the 199 software the nr 1 on all tracks.
With a Tekin motor it's the best combo there is.

what about KO BMC (or Orion version)? people said this speedo is very fast. especially with the adjustable frequency tuning option. at my home track, it is really fast (mod class), compared to LRP sphere and speedpassion GT2.
(fyi, in my country no hobbyshop sell Tekin)
i think its variable frequency tuning option is very good for stock motor.

Usually the motor, but I recommend getting one of the superflexy ones from TQracing.... measure the exact length needed, and buy one of perfect length. The factory ones are SUPER long for a TC. You can get them from stormer hobbies for $5

hound_dogs_01 06-29-2009 07:59 PM

You can order direct from TQ. I would suggest ordering wire from TQ also for your motor and speedo. The owner's name is Ralph. The website is in my signature.

I have been running TQ for about 2 years now and wouldn't use anything else.

Just scored a 3 race old Rs Pro esc for $190 shipped from the owner of axoimmotors.com out of the for sale section...
