It would be great if there were a way to fit a 1S lipo in this car. I love the car but really have no desire to go back to fiddling with nimh cells. I can't understand why they would come out with a completely new car in 2009 and design it around sub-C cells...

Price would be one guess. Then again this car may have been in development for a while except for the period when the memo about the ball diff was lost to the shedder.
. I've heard rumors for 2 years about the F104 and those small LiPo's were only a dream then. I hope this thing is cheap, if it caught fire the only thing that would be left would be the axles. Still though I like it. Another option for the starting line.
