I pulled my seals out and soaked them in an integy bearing washer filled with brake cleaner. It has an offset motor on it so it vibrates the crap out of them. I got a much better job now that I removed the shileds and the car is a lot easier to roll. I seen another racer with no shields on his diff bearings, but I can't afford to destroy them... I've heard it's ok to run the shields on the external side only which makes sense for the outdrives but the diff bearings looked sealed enough by the housing that I should be able to get away with it

I also use a drop or two of the royal oil to lube them with and have been doing the clean and relube on a 2 week interval racing once a week.

Just got my new BMI TC3 chassis from the "new batch" that Jason made and all I can say is that it is a really great looking chassis (I have the older one also) - and it appears it might be a bit lighter - haven't weighed it yet.......The new graphite material that was used in this batch is fantastic looking (and we all know how well BMI stuff works on the track!!!!!!!)

groovey how far back from the orignal position of the STD TC3 steering do you have to drill to fit the TC4 swing rack?

Thanks

I am having trouble with the car rolling over onto it's lid when I drive the car hard. I can just about hit the lap times of the top cars, within 2 tenths but the car will usually roll right over over when I drive it harder. You were suggesting stiffening up the suspension or a sway bar.

Thanks
Daryll

How would you go about it? I can't figure out if it's the rear or the front or both laying over. Do I go up a spring rate all around or just go up on the oil in the rear?
