wolfeman09 > Thanks for the info.
I'll definately check those out.
I practiced TC3 at parking lot today.
Too bad it was covered with lots of fallen leaves.
With 10t caliber, it is really fast.
Almost as fast as if not faster than nitro cars I've seen racing.
At full throttle it was screeching away.
But I need new tires, stock v-rage(?) really sucks.
They don't give much traction. Car was sliding at every turn. It was rough asphalt covered with dust and leaves.
I had fun though, playing it around doing power sliding.
After a few packs, pieces of leaves were all stuck inside the body, so I had to stop it.
Better order oils, springs, tires, stock motor, pinion, etc... for the track.

After, I assemble and check for any roughness on the bearings, if all is ok I store for the next time I need it, if not, I repeat all the process (one time I needed to clean with a mix of denaturated alcohol and acetone at 70 alcohol /30% acetone. Beware with the bearings and the acetone.

Complete Tuning Guide, TC3
I do apologise if this question has already been raised and answered, but these threads are starting to get a little longwinded and it's hard to find what your're after.
Anywayz, here goes...does anyone know where i can get my hands on a copy of the "Team Associated" Complete Tuning Guide, TC3?
I'm downunder here in Australia, and none of the hobby shops stock it, and i haven't yet ventured into ordering parts online overseas.
Your favourable reply would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Guys, Greetings from Malta.
TC3 rules.....AGAIN.
TC3s dominated the 13th and 14th rounds of the National Touring car championships of Malta on Sunday.
Josh Anastasi flew round the circuit to add another two wins to his credit and move up to joint leadership of the Nats for modified. He missed out on a 21 lapper by a cat's whisker in round 13, then went on to record the only 21 lapper of the meeting in round 14, lapping a full second a lap quicker than the second placed TC3 of young Hayden Sciberras, who was also second on both occasions. Julian Bernard completed the TC3 trio with third places in both rounds.
Josh's TC3 runs the following equipment - exclusively.
CORALLY 12 turn Pro Modified motor and RC3000 Pro team cells,
NOVAK Cyclone TC2 speedo, and XXL receiver,
KO PROPO steering servo.
The car is prepared and breathed on by JOHN BULL RACING.
In Stock, round 13 was won by the MR4 TC of Tom Cremona, whilst Karl Fenech took the honours in round 14 with his TC3.
This puts TC3s in the two top spots in mod.
Next two rounds this coming Sunday.
Regards
Joe from sunny Malta.

Has anyone had success in fitting a 540 silver can motor into a TC3. If so how were you able to do it. Our club is running a 12 hour enduro in the near future and our team would prefer to run a TC3.

This motor should be slow (very slow) and with very low efficiency. Rather than running with those motor, can be wise choosing something like a 19 or 20 turn motor, the pace should be fairly fast, but with low battery draw.
If I don't remember the mabuchi 540 we slightly large for the tc3 and don't fit, choose another motor, maybe a 20 turn or a tamiya dynarun or simmilar.

To run a closed endbell motor like the Mabuchi you may have to trim the chassis a little bit (not totally sure).
I would have to agree with Corse-R. A 19-20, or even 17 would be a better choice: better efficiency for sure.
I don't know that I would go so much for speed as I would for runtime. AND WEAR GLOVES!!!! We did an enduro and everything gets REALLY HOT after awhile....

servo saver
My servo saver came loose durring my last race so I had to adjust it. I didnt have the manual so I tightened it then backed it off 1/2 to 3/4 of a turn later I toasted that servo what is the best way to adjust it?

Wolf- E-Mail me a copy of it when you get it....interested to see what's in it... Please
Buda- you want to adjust it so that the end of the screw is flush with the nut on the other end. This is the starting point.
Kraig. We basically run the body as low as possible before it drags the ground. Not sure what hole it's in, but it's pretty low.

TP The problem with the chassis is easily fixed, however the bigger problem is getting the motor cam to fit the motor. As for using a dirrent motor, that is not an option, as the 540 motor is the only one allowed. This motor worked quite well in our last 12 hour enduro. We only toasted the first motor arround the 8 hour mark, and our second motor easily finished the race.
