You might have put too much diff grease on them or didn't tighten them enough, give that a try.

The diff nut or bolt could be stripped. There would be not pressure when the car is off the ground, but once you set it down there is more pressure. I'd make sure that it is tight and not stripped. One other thing. I know it sounds dumb, but are the tires glued to the rims. I had a JrT that didn't have the tires glued to the rims and I racked my 10 year old brain for days. Ahh the good ol days.

Howard I missed your race how is the Warpspeed??

I had that problem last week during a race after a fresh front diff rebuild. I just lost drive to the front wheels. I didn't crash or do anything about a 1/2 lap in. it turned out to be the diff screw was sheared off right at the head. strangest thing I've ever seen.

i did just put the AE bearings in the outdrives in the rebuild. Ill try cleaning any excess lube off the gears and replace the bushings and see what happens..
any more ideahs would be appreciated..
and yes the tires are clued

Don't use the bearings in the plastic outdrives. Even if you get it to work, it will still slip easier than the bushings.
There really isn't enough movement to warrant bearings in the diff anyway.

make sure when you do use bushings you put the correct ones in. there is a set for the steel outdrives and a set for the plastic ones(which are thinner because of the thinner flange). im pretty sure the part # for the plastic bushings is asc3907.

swapped out the bearings in the plastic outdrives with bushings all is well again. hmm interesting delima i had. oh well, lessons learned.
thanks for the help

Megatech alu parts?
Does anyone have any experience with the Megatech hop ups for the TC3?
They do have a lot of alu at reasonable prices, but how is the quality? When looking at the pictures on Americas Hobbysenter’s webshop the holes in the arm mounts doesn’t look good.
I was looking to buy the front alu knuckles and front and rear arm mounts, but now I am not so sure.
What do you think??

The holes look big coz there is also a delrin insert that the arm pins go into..makes for a very smooth suspension. front and rear knuckles are just a good.

Along with the graphite side stiffeners it will do just as well on carpet.
