KingZJ,
What kind of drying type teflon are you using on the diff gears? White lightning?

Thanks.

15teen sec`s ???

You still can work on it ....

You can get 30 sec`s.....at least.....

But your gona need to grind a few places to get those extra seconds....

And yeah don`t need weighted tires or drivetrain to get that time ...( my personal best is 30 )

James Nguyen 12-21-2002 02:10 PM

How do I get my drivetrain that free?

TC3 12-21-2002 02:23 PM

megatech delrin arms

ther are delrin aarms from megatech and gpm..
has anyone tried them yet?

TC3 12-21-2002 02:38 PM

here is a pic of the gpm arms, the megatech ones are even more thickly http://www.hobbyetc.com/jpeg/dtc3055.jpg

KINGZJ 12-21-2002 02:50 PM

the stuff I use on the gears is called dri slide it is made by Lilly Industries in Fremont, MI. I have used White Lightning and it work very well but this stuff I get for free at work .

Correct me if I'm wrong but those arms are no good for racing as there is no droop adjustment.

Can somebody please tell me why there is an advantage of running the batteries down the right side of the car as Warpspeed have done.

If it is to stop torque steer I cannot see how?
I think I will buy the IRS chassis instead.

What seems to be the problem with the stock chassis? I have been running a tc3 for 3 seasons now and have seen many people try different chassis but they always seem to go back to the stock one. Cliff Lett is da man he designed the chassis and did a very good job with it.

30 seconds? That is a LONGG Time! I mean I thought 15 was quite a spin but 30?:weird:

I know these are minor things but you asked the question:

1 My car is 50 grams overweight
2 With a grahite plate type chassis you get much better motor cooling
3 More space to put a fan on eg in front of the motor rather than next to it.

They are the main reasons

Hi,

you should e-mail Mike Dumas about the Delrin arms has produces. they come with both holes drilled for the lower shock mounts. he also has the rear hub carriers and the steering knuckles drilled for either the TC3 or Losi.

You all are Sick! Just TC3 Sick!

I have spent the last 4.5 hours reading every single post on the TC3 and I have come to an conclusion, you are all SICK! and my other conclusion is that I will always be slow unless I step up to the plate with some practice, cutting, practice, grinding, practice shimming and more practice with my TC3.

Keep the information coming!

Thanks for all the help in becoming a faster Weekend TC3 Warrior!

NTC3 Steering mod?

I thought I seen a post that listed all the parts with instructions on how to do it. If you can tell where it is located or just list the parts and a how to, that would be great.

James Nguyen 12-22-2002 04:19 PM

KINGZJ,
How much white lightning should i put on the gears?
