I recommend starting at about 5.5. Keep in mind, a bigger spur will give your more drag brake and more acceleration. A smaller spur will give you less drag brake and a more linear acceleration.

This software is pretty versatile. You will find you can adjust this to your driving needs.

Best of Luck!

then :
3) install or uninstall the software ( PC Interface ).
4) install the new or latest Software (PC Interface).
5) "Upgrade" Esc, into the latest firmware ex: 422 or 323 Firmware.

above steps is a must if you are changing the PC Interface to detect your Firmware ESC or LCD Programmer, as Old Firmware.

it's never fail and quite safe and succeed.

hope it will help a lots.
i use xp deleted the old and downloaded the new that simple no problems

oh right cool , when i was running 110 software i was running at about 5.5 FDR and the supercharger software i was running around 7 FDR , thats why i was wondering where to start from ?

so with a 13.5t and 422 software you recommend starting at 5.5 FDR and everything on default settings ?

5,5 FDR is in my opinion to low, now I use 8 FDR with 230 i used 8.6, it does run a little colder now but better to have 15C as a safty margin then burning your motor in my opinion

Program 231 and 422 are very different in there FDR and settings.

You will find 422 will run cooler and have more power than 231.

Hi guys, has anyone else experienced problems with the mod 205
software on v1.33 or has it been that one incident on last page.. Mine seems ok but if other people have had probs with it I'll install v1.32 again and use the old version, as when I run it at weekend I won't have the option to change it trackside
mine appears to be fine, but that earlier post bout it has made me doubt it

guys, take my word for it.....if you run a high fdr, i strongly advise you to go down to your local electronics parts store, buy a 40 mm, 5 volt fan, and wire it directly into your battery. attach it to your car's motor, either directly or on a heat sink. that way you have peace of mind and you won't overheat your motor. believe me, it works.....

But still 5,5 is low, I have run 422 for a while now and ar running 8FDR after a race I have about 60-65C on my track, with 230 I ran 8,6-9 on the same track with milder settings and had 75C in the same track.
It ran about 30C cooler with 422 compared to 230 with same settings and for sure if I had started on 5,5 I would have blown my motor for sure

actual race results using Speedpassion software 100422 and a Speedpassion Stock Spec 2.1 ESC, and a Speedpassion V3 17.5.

look for the expert 17.5 class, name Ritchie

http://www.fantasyworldracing.com/in...=107&Itemid=58

you can find all three qualifiers, I did not run the main as it started to rain.

on the web site, if you look under the 'media' tab you can find videos of the size of track we run. the layout for the above results is not shown.

Well just an update .............. still cannot get the speedo to rev up above about half throttle after updating it to 205 mod !!

I have recalibrated the transmitter numerous times.

Irgo I cannot roll back the software to original because when I try to use 1.32 to put it back to 205g a warning message comes up and says "cannot upgrade 205mod to 205g or 323"

I am sooooo stuck I feel like hitting speedo and program card with a hammer!!!

Total frustration here.

Looking like I will be sending it back to China !!!

AAAaaaaaaaaaaagh !!!!1

With a 13.5 i would start at 6.7-7.0. As far as settings, start with #6 or #7 on Boost(12) then the rest of 13, 14, and 15 is based on your feel.

The 100422 likes the lower FDR. I have tested with 100's of laps and a lot of the time, temping lower than 100*F. But then again, you can gear what ever you want.

What settings and FDR were you running I am looking at a similar size track.

On a side note what are you outlining your track with?

what firmware have you got on the lcd programmer ?
I found rolling back to HW software was easier to do than SP software.
When i had a hassle i rolled back to HW V1.5 and then reinstalled SP1.32 .
