And here we are, talking about all the issues we've had and yet not 1 SP rep has chimed in. Ive posted about my esc, Ive written emails and everything. I really think these things are just made and shipped, I dont think a CS department even exists.

SP doesn't officially say we follow this thread. I feel for everyone or anyone that has had issues with customer service. It is not my role, but I can try to help with any RMA or return issues. Just PM me. I'm not on RCtech much, but I can see what, if anything, I can do for you.

I have one 13.5 speed passion club spec system ive had for a while its still going
and the bearings are still working in it. It came in my Durango ready to run buggy.
I have used it onroad and offroad but mostly onroad.
Right now the speed passion system is in my B4.1 latemodel which is a dirt oval car.

Where can I purchase a replacement lower half or complete case for a Gran Turismo Pro Stock 2.1 ESC? (Black)

rctechuser015851 04-16-2016 09:18 AM

I'm not gonna bother with that RMA issue because this was over year ago I sent many private messages on this site and to speed passion it's just a lost cause and just a loss for me so I really don't care anymore.

Has anyone noticed their motor overheating with the stock firmware. I updated to this firmware And when I was running it, motor temperatures were really high never changed gearing, no timing etc. with my previous speed controller I never had this problem should I run a different firmware?

I'm running the stock firmware with a g2 HW 6.5T motor. After a race it's only 40 degrees Celsius but I'm running a fan behind it. Also FDR is close to 11. Air temp at the time was about 21 degrees Celsius

worked fine with my sp mmm 21.5.
put that back in and now that cogs too...wierd
3 sensorwires....12+ reprogram/reset....im done:flaming:

5/13 update....had a bad sensor board in both motors, sp had a loose pin on the board. put in a new one good to go, TP had a cracked chip on the board.

That sucks. I had planned on sending in my 1.1 but to what end? The Reventon R I used at the MHIC worked awesome.

(Sorry for "cross-posting", but the SP thread in offroad is DEAD)

I seem to have a problem with my Reventon Pro (not the 1.1 model)... It has gotten "soft" on the bottom end - no "grunt"... The first noticable effect is that the motor runs really HOT because it has no bottom end and loads up and overheats... I tried gearing WAY-way down (5 teeth) and the motor cools off, but at the cost of huge loss of overall speed, and worst of all, there still isn't much bottom end power... The effect gets worse during a run - jumps that can be cleared early in the race become impossible later in the run... Tried different motors - it isn't the motor...

Any ideas or suggestions...? It worked great for several months (running it with a 10.5 motor in Mod Truck offroad), then the motor started running hot and the bottom end went soft... Thought it was the motor, swapped it out for a new one... Not the motor...

PS: WTF is going on with Speed Passion's software... My computer screams about malware in the Reventon software download - and my antivirus flags the entire web site as "Dangerous"...

MY Reventon interface is now dead because the removal of the malware disabled it...

Now I have 3 Reventon ESC's that I cannot update, etc... WTF?
