Is there any benefit to using the plugs with 1/8 motors besides quick motor changes? Using the Blaze.

I don't see any other benefit besides quick motor changes. Any additional connection in a circuit adds resistance and reduced efficientcy. I don't use plugs or connectors personally.

Question for the speed passion Guru's

I have a Reventon R Esc and a MMM 17.5 combo in my durango Dex210 and it has done alot of race meet's.

On 3 separate occasions at about the 4 min mark in the race, the motor acts like its gone sensor-less, as in low throttle control is missing and when I stop and slowly takes off it cogs badly.

Now the 1st time I just turned the ESC off then on and it resolved it the other two times irrelevant of what I tried it would still cog.

I would go out and marshal the next race(6 min) and when I come back to my pit area to check it the car works normal.

Things I have replaced:

New sensor cable
New timing board (from red to a green)
New Rx
Checked motor ohm's measurement across winding's is even. 2-3 Ohm
Checked solder connection on ESC

So my logical conclusion is its the ESC and when it gets hot. The thing is after races its 40-50deg on a temp gun, and I have tried with a Fan and no fan.

Other possibility is the Capacitor is faulty.

Its really random as its only happened 3 times over 8 race meets.

and yesterday it did it once out of 5 races.

LED status remains the same but I run Blinky (Stock 0)also

Maybe its sensor circuit on the actual ESC. Any further diagnostics I could do and ideas would be great.

Thanks ahead of time.

Will the blinky setting have the option to switch to FWD/Brake/reverse? This would be great for club level and it seems strange why it's not available as a setting already. This is making guys I know not even consider the Reventon esc's as the Hobbywings / Fletas etc all allow this option to be used.

Please try reinstall the V25 again....its fixed. I tested it. And the within STOCK1 is version 22, which is used by Viktor Wlick at ETS round 3 and he is using it at the REEDY RACE this weekend.

Default Reventon 1.1 EX

Can anyone tell me the experience they've had with the Reventon 1.1 EX? Good or Bad?

So far I haven't had a very good one.

Sorry, we feel that using reverse on blinky mode is not the best to do on any kinda of racing environment. If you want to use reverse, you can choose to use MOD0 version and turn off all the timing. However, that does not mean it will be equal to blinky and is not legal to race on any no timing, blinky required event...

Hey guys, looking for ESC's for my 2wd 10.5t and 4wd 7.5t buggies. Looking at the Reventon S for 2wd and R for 4wd. Just looking for suggestions and or feedback.

Be better getting R's for both ?

What issues are you having. I have one in a 12R5.2 and it runs great. A lot of guys are using them in other 2s class racing because they like the black color.

Both would work well for each application. If you can afford it then why not go R for both. It has a higher amp rating and if you don't use turbo you can use a lower motor turn than 7.5.

Thanks for the answer. Would the 7.5t V3.0 motor be a good replacement for a very tired Novak motor in 4wd buggy ? Special rotor needed for offroad ?

Is the capacitor included ? Sorry about all the questions
