You have said this twice now. What does that comment have to do with me or anything else I said?

I have nothing to do with R1 Wurks. I just think it's silly to spend $30 on one fan when an equivalent or better product can be had for half the price.

Is it better to have just a fan. Or a fan and heatsink on the motor.

Default V3 1 Cell Motor questions

I'm after some information about these motors because I originally wanted to buy one of the V3 Competition (Not MMM) 21.5 motors for a touring car, but it appears that they are out of stock just about everywhere.
However at the Speed Passion International Warehouse they have the 1-2 cell versions of the motor in stock. My questions are - will these motors be just as good as the V3 (Not MMM) counterparts in regards to torque & rpm outputs?
Will the 1 cell motor deliver enough torque for a 2 cell TC or should I try to find a V3, or even contemplate getting the V3MMM?

The reason I ask is because I'm looking for an inexpensive "ROAR Approved" motor to use at my local club meetings, and to have a back up motor for the larger events here that require an "approved motor" from the various motor lists.

Cheers
Rob.

Yes the one cell would be fine in a 2cell touring car. I have run it in both applications with no problem

the 1 cell works fine with two sell the rotor is just weaker to help the esc on 1cell turn it over quicker so yes you get less torque but same rpm.
i have seen the 2wd buggy drivers use a 6.5t 1 cell to get the speed of the 6.5t but the torque of a 7.5t

Since I only run Mod then I'm not affected by the Hybrid Boost software not working on 1s yet. We'll get it sorted out soon for that software. For now, if you run 1s Mod (and I'm thinking Blinky should work also) using either a 2s Lipo Rx or HobbyKing booster with the Reventon Pro you should be fine.
I not fully understand... whats the difference for Hobbyking booster and TQ booster? will a novak booster work?

Yeah mate but..................
This guy is racing ON-ROAD,not off,so you would need more torque,NOT rpm.
If you are not familiar with a product or question, don't answer it.
Someone just might follow your mis-guided advice.
