Yes it's branded as a muchmore, but has same features design n looks of the sp. I would happily call it a clone.

Same as hpi flux and hw v3 they are the same the flux is a clone.

Running a 4.5 turn with 150K hybrid boost,(drrs set on 7),you can see the chassis flex it's that nutty.
I have run a 13.5 with the Reventon Pro,(s/p mmm motor),and it was a bit "coggy" down low, like zero to jogging pace but then it was fine.
I'm just trying to help you,and I think the K stands for the thousand revs.
Hope this helps
AND I hope the techs correct me if I'm wrong.

Cheers mate. That ain't far short of what I think unless, like you, some soeedoassion tech head corrects me. You said a 13.5 was a bit coggy. Would it be best to wait for sp's 13.5 firmware or is the cogging so small ut ain't worth worrying about?

I would wait.
It shouldn't be long for the software to come out and to put it bluntly,I was prepared to have it blow up or whatever just for the sake of gathering more data on this combo,so I could answer most questions about the software from our club members, who, are kids and can't afford to throw away an engine or speedie.
( I was using my sons one lol).....just kidding
So wait a couple of weeks then go nuts!
All the best

Nice find on the blaze and Silver Arrow V2 combo. Not sure I like the high Kv though, hopefully we get something down in the 1900 - 2100 Kv range.

I thought after the whole "its just a hobbywing" fiasco that the SP stuff would be its own non-cloned / OEM'd, whatever deal?

by the way, will there be any more software updates for the GT2.0 line of is 428 stuff the limit?

Hey Cain,
I believe Howard told us a while back, after they get the Reventon stuff sorted,it's on to new software for the GT2.0.
However the 2.1 is finished,no more,none,gone,nada,fini.
Cheers

1 cell motors... What would I benefit with a 1 cell 7.5t Mod motor in say 2wd buggy? Mainly looking for a smoother bottom, and thought this may be an option..

Your easiest path to smoother bottom end is just to go with a more mild motor, say a 10.5, and boost it more to retain the top end.

i have ran the 1-cell 7.5t boosted but in a TC and the power band is smoother top end felt the same as my 2-cell 7.5t,it was easier to drive with the same settings as the 2 cell motor.

Default reventon pro issues

So I finally got a chance to put my Reventon Pro in my touring car and am running into major issues. I've updated the firmware on the programmer card and in the ESC and so far have tried Stock0 and Mod1 with the same results. Pulling the trigger nets no activity from the motor most of the time. If I roll the spur gear about a half turn and try again it works fine until I stop again. I thought it might be a sensor wire issue but 4 wires and 2 motors later there hasn't been a change in how it's acting. Just to be sure, I put the reventon S back with with the same battery/rx/radio/sensor wire/motor and everything works perfectly and is very smooth. With the Rev Pro it has the issue above and even when it works it doesn't sound very smooth. Has anyone else had this issue and does anyone have any ideas of anything else to try with it?

In case anyone is wondering, KO 408s rx, Futaba BLS351 servo, Novak Ballistic 17.5 motor. The entire setup has worked flawlessly with the Reventon S, the Novak Edge and Novak Kinetic ESC's so I'm quite certain it is something specific to the Reventon Pro.

Hi,
Quite a simple fix.
You can't run a 17.5 yet with the current software. It only is suited for motors UP too 10.5.....or lower turns (down to 4.5/4.0).
The software you need will be released soon for 13.5/17.5/21.5.
Just have to wait, shouldn't be far away.
Cheers
Tim
