I personally like the green board so far for 17.5 blinky. I keep switching back and forth between the green and the yellow. Make sure you drop a couple teeth when switching boards and watch temps.
Alright, just so I am clear on this. The +10, +20, +30, etc All refer to the base timing? Meaning the stock red sensor board bumps the base timing up by 10 to start with and goes to 20?

There is base timing "built into" the motor that is always there no matter which timing ring you are using.

The stock board goes from +11-20*. The green board goes from +21-30*. The yellow board goes from +31-40*. And the blue goes from +41-50*. These are on top of the "built in" timing.

If you want to add 10* on top of the stock board, you should go with the green board.

guys, i am at the track now, running a 2.0 pro. we are racing 17.5 boosted. i am using the set up posted in the S/P web site. I need the boost to come in just a bit sooner. What can i do or change to start the boost just a bit sooner?

Thanks,

That fixed my problems, thanks for the help.
It also helped 2 other racers at the track today.

I'm having the same issue with the Reventon S that i just got. Should I do the same thing and turn off the thermal protection?

You shouldn't run with the thermal protection on for any racing applications.

Item 13 and 15...the lower the number, the faster and harder it will hit, also, temps go higher and sooner too.

Glad that work............for your information, I don't use LIPO cuttoff as well. I pull off after 6 minutes no matter I am practicing or racing, I never overrun my lipo/car....turning that off will avoid the DNF while racing.

NOT YET....only the REVENTON PRO can run the 4 pole 4x4 motor with boost. Should be out like October time.
